As you would expect from any Motorsport, the equipment and involvement necessary to achieve high standards is very costly. Whilst anyone is still racing in cadet class, it is quite manageable to use a small van to transport the kart and equipment to each race meeting. As you move up in class, the karts get larger and more technically challenging. With this in mind, a custom-built motor home complete with workshop would be next on your agenda "budget permitting".
